The Blues Brothers (Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi) brought their high-energy show to a crowd of 800 at the Beaumont Civic Center on April 18, 2009 at the CHRISTUS Health Foundation Southeast Texas 29th annual Gala. Proceeds from this fundraising event will be used to benefit CHRISTUS Hospital – St. Elizabeth & St. Mary, and CHRISTUS Jasper Memorial Hospital.
The 2009 Gala honored Iris and Jerry Nathan for their years of service to our community. Co-chairs for the event were Heather and Mark Petkovsek. Thank you to all that supported this benefit!

The CHRISTUS Mamie McFaddin Ward Cancer Center is undergoing a major renovation – thanks to a generous donation by the center’s namesake foundation. The Mamie McFaddin Ward Heritage Foundation recently donated $500,000 to upgrade technology in the center and modernize the facility.
